All members of, including holders of a Tarot Readerscore and the Certified Tarot Master (CTM) designation, must uphold and follow our established Code of Ethics. Maintaining good standing is contingent upon adhering to this Code. Any breach may affect your membership and certification status with

  1. Read cards with precision, relying on one’s intuition, irrespective of its impact on compensation.
  2. Avoid offering services beyond tarot reading, such as medical, psychological, or legal advice, unless appropriately licensed.
  3. Practice non-discrimination in service delivery based on any individual characteristic.
  4. Uphold client confidentiality, refraining from discussing reading details without the client present.
  5. Seek professional assistance and step away from work if impaired by substance abuse or health conditions.
  6. Commit to lifelong learning to continually refine professional skills.
  7. Represent credentials, competence, and background truthfully.
  8. Prevent conflicts of interest that could compromise professional judgment.
  9. Abstain from deceitful or fraudulent behavior related to financial transactions.
  10. Conduct oneself professionally, avoiding actions that tarnish the reputation of the Tarot community.
  11. Eschew harassment, power abuse, or any form of misconduct.
  12. Monitor any supervised individuals to ensure adherence to this Code of Ethics.
  13. Credit sources appropriately to avoid plagiarism.
  14. Treat colleagues and associates fairly and without prejudice.
  15. Engage constructively and truthfully in the ethics complaint process with CompetentSee, LLC.
  16. Adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal laws related to Tarot reading.
  17. Report any convictions, pleas, or findings related to misdemeanors or felonies to CompetentSee, LLC in a timely manner.
